Weekend Challenge – 29 Faces Continues

I hope you have joined in on the 29 Faces of February Challenge!  It is a great way to stretch your creativity, and for those on a budget, it's virtually free to play!

Weekend Challenge

Find the brightest colors in your box… crayons, markers, paints, whatever you have... create a face for the challenge.

No holds barred – splash that color!  Think of all the colors of spring, and splash them on your page!

Now of course here's the best part – think of a way to make someone else's day with your artwork!  Here's a little watercolor I splashed last night.

Come on, share with us. What's the most creative way you can brighten someone's day with this challenge piece?

    1. Thanks Fran! I didn't get to complete the 29 faces this year with my dad's health, but I had so much fun doing the few that I was able to create! Maybe next year! Thanks for your comment and God bless,
      Sherry

    1. Cindy, thank you so much for the kind comment and thank you for visiting my blog! It gets kind of lonely here at times! I only got to do a few faces this year, but I'm hoping we'll play again in the fall.
      God bless,

    1. Thanks for the kind words and the visit to my blog! I think God had fun creating chickens...they come in so many colors, shapes, and sizes - better than the 64 count Crayola box!
      Have a blessed day,

    1. Clare, thank you for the kind comment and the visit to my blog! I hope you'll drop back by often. I'm just now getting to catch up on my blog after several weeks. I know I'm late, but I finally have a day where I can blog hop and visit others' art from the challenge. Maybe next time I'll get to play through the whole challenge!
      God bless,
      Sherry

  7. Thank you for commenting on my blog. I will answer your question, kind of. My mother died on February 28, so the challenge for me was particularly difficult because i was either running to the hospital, or running to her house every single day. And up until her last couple days of life, she wanted to see the painting or sketch I had done for the challenge. Sometimes she would ask for 2! once she asked for FOUR! (that day I cheated and showed her some of my older paintings). but partially because of her, even though times were incredibly stressful, and drawing yet another face seemed almost pointless, I did it anyway.

    PS cute rooster.

    1. I am sorry to hear about your mom. That was my February as well; however, my dad is still hanging on. I'm glad you got to share your art with your mom while she was still here. My dad can't see mine, but we have gotten to talk quite a bit. That, in itself, has been a blessing.
      Have a great day!
